IMBShare

IMB IT host and manage the Quotaless Network File Shares. As an IMBer your personal share will be created upon IMB account creation which will also provide you with access to your lab/group share.

Once you place a file on either your personal or lab/group share, it will be replicated 3 times. The final copy will be written to tape and stored outside of QBP for DR (Disaster Recovery) purposes.

Nightly backups are completed therefore the final copy for each day can be restored if they have been given enough time to archive to tape.
